There was a previous initiative here to do just that.

iirc the business case got blown out of the water when Afrihost started the price war.

ZA needs a new revolution.
 
It certainly is something that requires money, especially if you want to come in at better pricing than Mweb/Afrihost.

I'm all for it, but it's no walk in the park.
 
I am totally on this and will get someone from this house to pay 1 year upfront :D

Give members the option of being shareholders and let's talk :)

It's an idea worth investing in and I have little doubt that many of us would be happy to pay a bit more just to get some reliability. I demand at LEAST an IPC in Cape Town and JHB.

Of you can dream ... regrettably this is a bit of a pipe dream ;)

It needs to make a marginal profit or at the very least break even on costs (including any admin involved) in order to be sustainable.

/sigh

Such is life :(

No point. The issue lies with line rental and IPC at the moment...neither of which an ISP can fix.
