I've found that trading alt coins has been a lot more profitable than mining. And no electricity costs. Just trade carefully and buy LOW.

That being said, I am letting my poor little RX470 on my home PC mine ETC 24/7. A new coin pops out every now and again, which is nice for putting in almost zero effort.

Stay away from any FREEWALLET.ORG apps. They are a scam. The wallets keep your private keys online on their servers, hence they have access to your funds.

@Viper25, AFAIK you can't buy Monero directly in SA. Your best bet is to buy BTC or ETH on a local exchange like Luno or Alt Coin Trader and then convert on an international exchange.

No, buy Bitcoin on CEX. It might never make it to bittrex and binance from Luno. And send it to Poloniex IMO. Far higher taking volumes.
