MM is not playing nicely with my device.

Normally at this time I am still on 100% I am down to 94%.

I have installed the battery monitor (again, I un-installed it a while back)

I have not really used my phone at all. but something is not playing well. I have not played a single game, checked twitter, checked reddit, used telegram or anything.
I have sent 2 whatsapp messages, and received 2 emails since I took it off charge.

normally by now I have played at least one game, sent a few more messages and gotten a few more emails.

now I just have to wait and see what is draining the battery...
problem is I used the MTN update...

Also had extreme battery drain after the update, but it did improve after shutting down and removing the battery.

I did a backup and then a full factory reset with restore. LED problem seems to have stopped, lock screen background image does not change by itself and no battery drain that I can see.

The guys with the battery drain problem, did you disable activity logs?

My update procedure:

Battery was at about 90% when I started the update via LTE.

After the update the battery was at about 60%. So I did a battery pull and then used it until the battery was at about 5%.

Did a battery pull and fully charged it. At 100% did a battery pull and plugged it in again for about 20min.

User the phone until battery was at about 5%. Did a battery pull and fully charged it again with a extra 15 to 20mins after showing 100%.

I didn't disable activity log or didn't change any permissions.

I did however disable auto brightness because it think MM doesn't do well there. My screen brightness is set at 40%.

Hope this will help.

Will try this... so far 2hr of SOT with relatively heavy use now on 57% and device has been on for 12 and a half hours, with all radios enabled.

You on 20D local or 20E from XDA. I remember seeing your name there.

How you switch back to local. Factory reset then update?

I'm not sure it Update will work after you factory reset. As far as I know it your phone won't pick up a update because it's already on 6.0

I guess the best will be to try and download the local firmware and flash it the same way you flashed the XDA firmware.

That's exactly what I did.

The SOT depends on so many variables. But the main thing is brightness. Mine was 77%. Should've been at 40%. But on the whole I don't think we can complain.
