LG G4

I might have to do a reinstall as well.

Hearthstone and ticket to ride aer both so big that LG backup does not want to back them up. and that is annoying. but with them on the SD card I might get away with not needing to download them again

maybe a dumb question, but can one download the MM FW update to your PC and then at a later stage install to phone?

thanks - that stuff is probably over my head and I might just brick my phone, so I'll just have to do it one night with my night surfer data :-(

It's really easy bru. Honest nothing hectic like rooting and flashing TWRP.

But do what you are comfortable with.

This is the first time I ever tried to Backup my LG G4. Why am I getting this error message? I'm trying to backup and the location I chose is my Laptop (with more than 500GB free space)

Okay, I'm still having bad battery life after local MM update. Did a flippen factory reset which is a real PITA to restore and set everything up again.
Now what? Downgrade again back to LP (and have to deal with another f***ing reset and restore!?!?)

Root and kill this logd process? I'm inclined to go the root method.
What method do I root a 815P model on MM, anyone know?

I might be wrong, but I don't think you can root the 815P.

Download the 20e version from XDA. Flash it via LG Up. Hopefully it will be a better experience...
I might try that, shot
Lg don't want to unlock it I emailed them, and the response was only H815
Ja, I was happy without root while all went well, but when I need to fix stuff that requires root to achieve, it's ticking me off that I can't.

Anyone experience screen burn-in on their G4?

I am. So I downloaded the Screen Burn In fix app and ran it for about 30min and it's already looking much much better.

According to the developers running it for 8 hours should fix it.

I'll let it run tonight while on charge and check it out tomorrow.

No, not that I've noticed. Report back how it goes.
