LG G4

So looks like Mm official Sa release is looking a bit hit n miss for some people in terms of battery life?

I are a miss :(

Check if you have the "Activity Setting" switched on under Settings -> "About phone" and there at the absout end of the list ""Activity logs" (to help improve quality and performance....") ... damn it LG, then code the stuff correctly so that it won't suck the battery empty like dracula after hundret years of sleep. ;)

If this option is active, switch it OFF. ;) Deny that you are willing to send data.

Mine was also on all the time. Switched if off now. But I don't have any battery draining problems. So it must be a random Device/MM problem.

When you factory resetted, did you just do it from the settings menu, or did you do it from recovery? In recovery you can do a full format as well....

and have you deleted all the dalvik cache's and the like?
I did it from off, holding power and volume down.

How do you get to recovery on a locked bootloader device?

LG has it's own recovery... doesn't it?

fook, now i'm starting to doubt myself.........

what does it look like when you do this:
LG G4 Recovery Mode

Power Down the LG G4
When Off, Press and Hold the Volume Down and Power Buttons at the Same Time
Continue Holding These Two Buttons Until You See the LG Logo
When You See the LG Logo, Let Go of the Volume Down and Power Buttons for 1 Second
After 1 Second has Passed, Immediately Start Holding the Power and Volume Down Buttons Again
Continue Holding These Two Buttons Until You Boot Up into the LG G4 Recovery Mode

I know all Androids have stock recovery. Like when you do a OTA upgrade you'll see the android monster spinning.

Didn't know you can access it and make selections. Always had TWRP installed.

My battery life has been shocking since the mello upgrade... I checked its not the logging.

The battery monitor says its the screen that is causing the drain so I have turned down the brightness, its on auto but seems to be ignoring that.
Its getting better but they also say that the device needs to settle after the upgrade... LOL

the recovery on my samsungs is pretty close to things like TWRP, without the nice extras... but for some reason I can't remember what the LG's stock looks like

Stock LG boot recovery is just one option - factory reset

Anyone else been having weird issues with unlocking the phone or using Smart Lock.
Mine behaves really strange, like it unlocks but then nothing is displayed, almost like it's still locked and sometimes it take me entering my pin asa double tap and locks the phone again.
