Yea wife's did the same, working then boot loopJust saw it now. Thanks. Sigh it was fine just froze and boom bootloop. Most of my stuff backup to mediafire every night when I connect to my LTE wifi so no worried about data loss.
my SN starts with 506, do you think they will replace the MB if it has no fault yet?
Where is the best place to take it? SP or LG?
Mine doesn't boot loop but it has an intermittent touch screen problem and the gps stated acting up. Getting ready to factory default to make sure it's not a software issue.I wish I could force mine into bootloop![]()
I think the P9 is going for the same price. could be wrong.
The G4 Deal was ridiculous though. Got one for me and one for the missus
Perhaps try a different store. Maybe that one just didn't get stock or ran out.
In my experience, most of the people working at cellphone stores don't know much about phones and just try to wing it with answers to questions.
Its been a while now since getting my G4 back after the bootloop issue and so far all is well. One thing thats strange is that prior to the bootloop I had the LED flashing issue and now after replacing the entire mainboard I still have the LED issue which is a bit weird but ok.
Yes I know but its weird how the same problem can carry over even after the mainboard is replaced.I think those two issues aren't related - I also have the LED issue and just reset it with the down and up arrow

Thats what I dont know seeing as when the mainboard is replaced they also replace the memory so how is it possible that the LED problem still persists.software related?

My G4 started the boot loop issue a couple days ago. For the people who have had their's repaired, how long did it take? I imagine between 1 and 2 months?
You lucky b******d. I'm with Cell C, it took them over three weeks to fix my G4.I took mine in on a Thursday morning and got a email the following day to say that I can come and collect.
