My G4 stated boot looping on Saturday. Booked it in to a LG repair center: Let's Trade Mobile in Montana PTA
I needed to provide POP or the contract stating the date and the IMEI number on the contract.
They told me it should take about 2 days to repair. Ill post feedback once repaired.

But isn't whatsapp linked to the cell number, one acc per number?
There is a app for that, but why use a third party app if you don't need it?
Log in as guess or other user.
Install whatsapp on that user.
Register with your secondary number.
Use code sent to secondary number.
There you go. Two whatsapp accounts on one phone. You just need to change users to use other whatsapp account.

Found a replacement battery at R250 at these guys:

They replaced my mainboard under warranty, booked my phone in on Monday morning and it was ready for collection this morning - impressed

Perhaps make sure that they have stock when you do go. they are a bit hidden in the Etienne Lewis Centre. If you park at the Veda rd entrance walk in straight till you see a small flight of stairs on your left, go up with the stairs and you'll see them on the right.
Sadly this turned out to be just another version of 6.0 and reportedly won't even work on the H815's

F**King LG. I really like the G4... I think I'm even the one who started this thread when it was announced. But LG as a company are full of sh*t... Esp with updates and with unlocking of bootloaders.
Agree, I won't buy another LG device. My first and last. I'm thinking my next phone will be the OnePlus 3. My OnePlus One is still going strong (in use with my wife).
