I'm a few months in and honestly no complaints.

Vodacom is the issue here... not LG...

That being said, the difference between 6.0 and 6.0.1 are negligible... would rather have a solid N update.

AFter that.... xda will sort me out i'm sure

This... Best he can get is latest stock firmware.

but surely can still root ?

to be honest, coming from a samsung device, my initial thoughts were "root this mother*****er and get CM or a AOSP rom on here asap!"

After some time using the device... i'm pretty happy with performance... but the real gem of this phone, lets face it, is the camera and its manual mode. And i aint willing to give that up. no sir.

The reason for this is, and i believe it to be fact, no CM or AOSP rom is going to come with camera software that will beat stock.... so ja

I'm happy to stick it out for now, until android N, or end of 2 year warrantee ... whichever comes 1st, then root, de-bloat and custom kernel.

Wow okay well it's working fine now and my quickcharge is working again :D Warranty claim did not pay anything. :)

Where can I get hold of a quick charger?

Well I bought one from Aliexpress took 1 month to come. If you want a decent one that work very well with the LG look for a Samsung Adaptive Fast charger. Works very well with the LG G4.

As for any other charger I guess any charger that supports quickcharge 1.0 and 2.0 will work on the LG G4 but 2.0 is nice and fast damn.

Quick charge is worth every penny, always that time when you don't watch the battery and it gets very low and then you need to go out for the rest of the day, 20mins and you get a solid charge.
