I believe every users opinion counts. This is my first LG device apart from the nexus 5. I wouldn't know how to flash kdz if I hadn't found it here.

cool. and I still have a G4, my daughter is just the one that's using it... and i cry a little every time i think about it.

the Z5 feels very very good in hand. i think it's one of the best looking phones out there at the moment.

I am sure.
I have seen one in real life and I mistook it for a 6s. and I have mistaken s6es for 6ses as well.
all the phones kind of look the same lately. basically everything Apple sued Samsung over with the S2.
 
Hey FAnie, how often do you double tap the Sony to lock it or wake up the screen?

Not sure. When I factory resetted my device last night, I found a Sony option to back and restore, and that worked beautifully. Very impress with it. Don't have my LG with my obviously to check if it has something similar.

Not my issue here. I have full strenth all the time with Telkom. And even on wifi it was chowing battery, but strangely enough just at work, where the signal is better than at home. Could be LTE related like Baxteen says, but I don't give up that easily.

So last night I did a factory reset, took me about 1h20 to get everything back. Today, same issue... so I checked the running apps, and there were some apps running in the background that I don't use and which I don't think should be active in the background. So uninstalled a couple, and recharged the phone.

Been of charge for about an hour now, and still on 100%... feels like I'm back on my G4 :D because this has not happened until now.

So will report back later how the rest of day goes.

PS: I know this is not G4 related, but I think every smartphone user today wants better battery life.

So, this didn't do anything... same draid on Android OS. Looked at some XDA posts and it seems like this is a known lollipop thing. Found some more bloat I could disable... along with some default settings about keeping the device awake...

Recharging now, will see on my next try how it goes.

LG just dit it better. get the right phone back Fanie. I am sure your daughter will not mind getting the waterproof phone...

or do you need the waterproof phone in the mini :D

:D they did that function 100x better, no question about it... but there are other things I like about the Sony.

and then there are things which I like even less :(

once i've sorted this battery thing out, I'll do my review
which i am sure everyone is waiting for with bated breath

I have actually been waiting for it. I wont say with Baited breath, but I have been waiting.
 
Right, I went back to LP. I did a factory reset on 20C and it went back to German (which is fine, it resets to English when it finishes booting) but I wasn't prepared to possibly have the WiFi ipv6 issues I had when I did a previous refurbish to MM.
Downgraded to LP, restored data with LG Bridge and all back to 100% now.
