To be fair I have had Complimments
That's why I don't do covers and I still won't. Phones are slim and light weight, only to go bulk it up. Insurance takes care of any major damage.I have a uag cover. Solid protection but I feel it makes the phone bulky.
On some phones that's true but on the G4 I find it easier to hold with a cover on and I enjoy the convenience of being able to put it down almost anywhere without thinking. That's why I don't do covers and I still won't. Yip, each to their own. Very comfortable without a cover. On some phones that's true but on the G4 I find it easier to hold with a cover on and I enjoy the convenience of being able to put it down almost anywhere without thinking.
I like the gel cases with a slightly raised lip around the screen, then you can put the phone face down without chance of scratching the screen and being face down also protects the screen from things being dropped/sat/placed on it and cracking it.
Well if anyone is keen for an virtually unused Brown Leather back pm me, say R400?
The G4 ear buds are quite remarkable in my opinion, you'd probably need to spend more than a few hundred to buy something of equivalent sound quality off the shelf. Very impressed, the design, build and materials is also rather top shelf. Comparable Note 2,3, iPhone/ipad ear buds are absolutely dismal, I can't listen to them for more than a few mins.
Comfortable as well, suppose I'm lucky one of the 2 tip sizes fits me perfectly, if you have an old set of ear buds that had a better range of tips you can normally use them, they are reasonably universal. You can also get sets of Sony ear bud tips on eBay for around R10 incl shipping, they are also comfortable.
What are other people's thoughts and experiences with them?
Impressive sound quality but not too comfortable on my ears.
Does anyone use their G4 as is without a case? Anyone cracked their screens or dented them?

I do like the buds as well.
once I figured out what ear they are aiming for they became more comfortable as well.
the sound quality is great, and I use them while riding my bike, that should tell you a lot about how good they are.
I've looked for a bumper type cover that just protects the edges but nothing as yet, that would be the ideal situation.two phones from this side, both with black leather cover and tempered glass only.
when I find a cover that does not hide the sexy back, I will consider it.
but I like the feel of the leather.
5 months no drops, bumps or scratches from me. but the SO wants a flip cover because handbag has keys.
