LG G4

I'm using a Samsung quick charger on my G4. Phone charges really quickly, especially handy when you notice your phone is near flattened and you need to go out in a shortish while. 15mins charge gets you a very useable amount of battery life.

I assume it's a Qualcomm charger - from what I understand, these chargers don't give more than 2A, but put out a higher voltage (more than USB 5V), so can convey more power in the same time, but the phone has to have a Qualcomm processor, that can control all this magic, which the G4 has

The charger needs to be rated at 15W and be able to output 9v and 5v, if it supports that it's a Fast charger.

If you see a Samsung charger that says Adaptive fast charging then its the one you want, if you suspect a charger can support fast charging just check for the 9v/5v rating on the spec printed on the casing, 9v 1.67A 5V 2A. The 15W spec comes from the 9v/1.67A output.

On charger discussion I bought one @ chatz made by superfly, not a "fast charger" but chargers a note 5 battery in 1.75 hours max, haven't tried on the LG but should be pretty quick.

I have found that since upgrading to the European Marshmallow the my phone gets very warm at times and that battery life is not any better. In fact, I enjoyed Android 5.1 a bit more. But how can I roll back now without losing my data?

I'm on 5.1 also noticed the top third of the phone getting very warm at times, with normal use, Tapatalk/browser etc.

Full wipe

So would you guys still recommend this phone for the next 2 years? I am upgrading in Feb and the price is just so attractive. I am using a S3 at the moment as my Z2 got stolen last year. Was going to get an iPhone but price and one less iSheep pushed me back to a droid. Not really keen on waiting for another 3-4 months for the next gen of handsets to come out as my S3 is giving me a slew of issues at the moment.
