LG G4

no idea ... didnt shatter ... only 2 hairlines across screen ... will get it replaced when it bugs me ...
Tempered glass protectors are the bees knees, they really work. Bonus is they feel almost like the native glass screen, the old polymer TPE type plastic screen protectors felt like sheet.

Yes +1, I went through 3 on my OnePlus One and current one on my G4 is cracked but still usable. I have a new one in my drawer waiting for the current one to get worse.

Wtf do you do with your phones?

Seems there's a V20d-JAN-15-2016 update.
Seems it improves battery life and has a google patch worked into it

Use them
My wife uses the OPO, it's in perfect condition. My G4 looks like the day I bought it, except for the back cover which is a little scratched up (plastic one, don't like the leather).

Anyone play Hearthstone on their G4 and can comment on how it runs on the device?

I do.
it runs great. 100% flawless. having plaid on an s6, my lenovo Tab and an ipad air (shudder at those memories) By far the best performance is on..... a freaking laptop.
out of the devices I have plaid on the g4 performs best with the ipad air 2 in close second, but it was an earlier version so the bugs might have just been in the game.

that being said, I played two games with midrange druid a while ago and the phone used 5% batter life. the app is just so badly optimised. the Cpu gets quite hot and I would never play more than 4 games in a row.

the game is not made for mobile, the S6 has weird graphix bugs, I phones freeze, Note's get super hot like the g4 as well.

For a quick once off game from time to time the G4 would be the weapon of choice among phones I have played on though.
but rather play on a laptop or on a tablet.

Thanks for that. I do play it on a laptop. This will be just for quick 2 or 3 game stints.

So I wonder if that means that even serial 510 devices are affected. If they previously misdiagnosed the problems. Or the matters unrelated?

Yeah its a bit of pain really. Walking around with a phone that might croak any time of the day is a bit worrying. Will just have to apply proper back up habits from now on.

backups? like plugging into something and pressing a button to backup?

nee man... cloud syncing for photos when on wifi, contacts stored in google account... what else do you want to back up? the music and audiobooks on my phone is not the primary source.

Beauty of micro SD. All photo/video gets stored there and use Dropbox for instant backups. Whatsapp backs itself up daily to cloud. Google takes care of everything else (calendar/contacts and apps). 3rd party app takes care of call history and text messages backup daily. What else do you need really? :)

edit: snap fanie

maybe a stupid question, but how would one know if your phone has the problem? Slow booting?
