LIFEPO4 Battery discussion thread

I'm not sure because it hits ovp on one or more cell before. How can I reset the SOC to 100% on it in the app? is it possible?

Battery 2 is the new ecco battery.
Dont worry about soc for now. Lets revisit soc once balancer has had time with bat 2. It probably resets when it hits OVP.

Yes I fine tuned the voltages now so I can see the balance on BAT2. I'm going to disconnect now and grid charge battery 3 to see what it looks like.
Then after bat 3 is charged, leave all of them at 56V overnight and see if balancer did anything in the morning.

I modified that btw. OVP kicks in at 3.6v just in case as the 3.65v is quite high. UVP default for pace is 2.7v.
Wait did you change the pack full charge voltage yet?

I have no clue want to check if all 3 batteries has the same requested charge voltage and pack full voltage
I don't think he's using lithium mode, but rather just voltages with user mode. Just curios how he set OVP to 3.6V.

Do you by any chance have a over pack alarm voltage?

yea make it like 55200 like also the balanced open voltage is way to low up it to 3.400 or 3.450
Minimum 3.45V.

I'm so happy we getting somewhere and disappointed in myself for not rtfs when he posted app screenshot showing balancer setting.

You can use the overpack alarm voltage as the set charge voltage for your inverter so if you change this to 55.8v and you run closed loop coms the inverter will use that as the charge voltage. IF this is the master battery
I think his inverter is set to 56V and there is a 0.2V voltage drop.

This is the master battery but I haven't found a way to get comms with the Navasolar/Must inverter. I don't know which number on the inverter is for pacebms.

Does your app allow for protocol change on the battery?

Anyway by default it should be the pylon protocol. Not sure on the inverter what that would be without settings pdf
