Just got two sms' from two different friends about this. Gonna be awesome :D

....unless they are performing the second half of their new album. Then not so cool :/

Just found out I am writing an exam that following morning. FML.

Same response to the thread in CA in relation to this.

Big Concerts can go and fsck themselves.... I'm getting tired of them just ignoring Durban as a venue.

I'm sure the residents of poffadder are pissed as well :)

You guys know Chester can't sing live, right?

:D

He does just fine live. Saw them at an intimite gig in London - 1,500 people only! That was just before they released Minutes to Midnight, and it was to date the best gig I've ever been to. Then I heard the rest of Minutes to Midnight, and then they released A Thousand Suns, and i totally lost faith in them.....however the newest album Living Things, is in my opinion, decent. If they can limit the garbage from ATS in their performance, this should be pretty good!

Haven't heard the new one yet but must definitely give it a spin. I agree with you on ATS though. The only songs I liked from that album were When They Come For Me and Wretches and Kings. I hope the majority of their set is from the the first three albums. Imagine they open with One Step Closer. Oh my, the place will be seething!

On another note, any word on who will be opening for them? Hopefully it's not the Nudies again. They failed hard at the U2 concert (IMHO of course)

Not for that kind of money - and not really a band I'd pay to see.
Also - a lot of their latest offerings have been kak.
