Haven't heard the new one yet but must definitely give it a spin. I agree with you on ATS though. The only songs I liked from that album were When They Come For Me and Wretches and Kings. I hope the majority of their set is from the the first three albums. Imagine they open with One Step Closer. Oh my, the place will be seething!
I like to think that deep down they know who made them famous. I cant understand why they did most of that rubbish on ATS - I thought M2M was a bit of a let down and expected some redemption, but boy was I wrong.
I will say that in London, which as I said was before the M2M album was released, they played 2 tracks from M2M that had never been heard before, and they were Given Up and No More Sorrow - in my opinion, the 2 best tracks of the entire album. Part of me likes to think its because they understood that that was what the crowd wanted. Then they left the stage and the lights went out and everyone asked for an encore....chanting it.....so they came back on stage and finished with...Faint. It was ****ing epic. At that stage Faint was the one track i actually wanted to hear live more than any other.
Living Things is pretty good. I actually like MOST of the songs! So ya, if they make good picks, they can throw together a monster concert.
Edit: I'll also just add - if you imagine that you've never heard 'No More Sorrow' before, and the first time you experience it is live in a relatively small room......wow.......will never be forgotten. Incidently I paid 100quid for a ticket off the black market (they went on sale at 17.50), and trust me, its worth the money (so long as they leave out the ATS >.<)
