Linux on Psion Series 7 Netbook

NO. It's from 2000 and based on the ARM Risc architecture, not i386(x86).

That hardware has limited resources and even ARM based distors will be a biatch to get going. There is however a project dedicated to these Psion devices called OpenPsion.

In theory it would but not in practise. The problem is Debian (and any other distro for ARM arch) is simply just to fat/bloaded to run on the limited hardware resources the Psion have, 16MB or 32MB ram. You seriously have to cull the kernel and stuff to make it work.

OpenPsion is based on Debian and can use debian binaries but it's definately not vanilla debian.
