One would hope that white people would understand the symbolism of the flag and what it represents to black people. And then out of respect, they would simply not fly or display it.

But that works both ways.

Because one would also hope that black people would understand what the flag means to white people. And simplistically, to white people it doesn't mean apartheid or racism, it means the flag of the country they grew up in and many fought wars for. And then out of respect, they would not condemn it as a racist flag.

The problem is that the ANC and it's supporters know that the only card they can really play is the "we were victimized one". Truth is, they are useless at everything. And they know it. If Apartheid never happened....do you honestly think they would be better at anything?
