Android just always feels like scaffolding holding everything together.
Ok, so you made a statement. Time now to back it up with some facts...

:wtf:
/leaves fanboy to his own doing
not wtf... if you want to have an opinion about something, you should be able to defend your stance, not true?
if I say David Coulthard is a better formula driver than Michael Schumacher, I must have some reason for believing that to be true, not? I'm not trying to be a dick here, I honestly want to know why you believe 'it feels like schafolding'.
PP to Plasma? That went straight over my head.
But are you saying that my opinion is biased towards Android? If yes, then I have to agree. But then isn't that what a discussion in a thread like this is all about? Bunch of people biased towards a certain OS, trying to explain why they believe their OS of choice is better than the others?
If I am wrong, please, by all means, point out my faults.

You want me to explain to you why some experience feels the way it does? I can counter with you explain why Android is so fantastic without ever having used WP or iOS? It's all opinions
PP = PostmanPot, go read through the plasma/LED threads and you will understand.
And i don't have issue with you preferring Android, personally i think its overrated and Apple/IOS is far superior. But that is my personal opinion and i wont bash Android on every possible occasion. You just seem like to drill any other OS/phone on every possible opportunity while promoting the S5.
Just because you have one does not make it the best. You prefer the Widgets, that's fine, but you cant go around telling other people they are wrong because they prefer the live tiles, each to his own.
Like someone mentioned, IOS/Android/WP8 are so equal these days it honestly comes down to personal preference. I hate the live tiles, i absolutely despise it, its ugly and irritating flipping around the whole time, i gave my mother the Lumia a few weeks back, and she absolutely loves it.

It's the options and amount of choice that's overwhelming you.
You would rather be told what to do and what you get. Very similar to Apple eco-system.
Nothing wrong with it, some people are just like that.

I'm not bashing anything. OK, maybe a little. But maybe its because I state my case with facts, not 'feelz'. Other OS users normally have no foot to stand on, and just give the excuse of "well, i just don't like it". And that's fine. You don't have to look it. But if you can't tell me why your preferred choice of OS is better, then you have to admit, that the one you like, might not be the best.
I have used iOS. Had an iPhone before my S2. And trust me, I was a HUGE iPhone fan. Always just smiled and waved at all those blackberry users, it was so much fun. But then I found something better, and now I think iOS is not as cool.
I haven't use WP, I use W8 on my laptop thoughlol but seriously, is it not a fair question to ask why you think WP or iOS or whatever you are using is a better OS than another one?
You've been skimming. I have a S2, had a S4, have a Note 3, now the S5, and getting the Note 4.

Strange than that most people in the world prefer to use an Android phone.
I wonder why.![]()

So my eexperience is as follow:
iOS is slick and it just works.
Sounds like me hahaha. eg, I love RPG games but a game like Neverwinter gave me waaay too much choice.
Didn't smaak.
Once again, sounds like me haha.
I don't hate iOS or Android, but do get annoyed at people that praise it so hard and tell me I have a crap phone/OS.
My reasoning is simple, I like Nokia gave them one more chance(I was sitting with a S2(best look Samsung ever) and Lumia 800 when i upgraded and wondered which one) with WP since I like the phone that came with it(at that time the Lumia 800)
Haven't had a issue since and it runs so nice, so don't feel the need to change, plus I just hate change, too lazy for that shiz.
Is it a fact the S5 has a faster processor than the Apple 5, more ram?, bigger screen with better battery and resolution. Yes those are facts, But honestly that does not make the user experience any better. i have also worked on a S4, Windows Phone and my current Apple phone, My experience with the Android phone is the keyboard is not that responsive, certain apps freeze and bombs you out, the phone feels flimsy and plastic and the actual apps does not look as appealing as to IOS. But this again is based on my own opinion and feeling, here we have you who also had IOS and you prefer Android, that's why i'm saying each to his own.
Facts says your phone's hardware is superior, that's fine. does that make it a better phone?
Honestly it comes down to the "feelz".
I will always use a phone which "feels" the best and not necessarily the one which has superior hardware.
So my eexperience is as follow:
iOS is slick and it just works. It's almost the same as the difference between PC and PlayStation...with the console everything just works. I absolutely loath that is so licked down and that I have no control where my files are etc. You have to use it the Apple way :/
Android can do anything and it feels almost too open to me (scaffolding comment). I like that I have full control over the location if my files but somehow Android crashes more than the other OS's I use. It also feels like it us vulnerable (I actually need ab antivirus installed on it :wtf: )
WP8 is super easy to use. Words cannot describe how easy it is and similar to iOS everything just works. But the APPS are seriously lacking. The official main stream (Facebook, Evernote and the like) are fantastic but the rest feel ****.
So from all of the above I heard "yes android is fantastic, better than my choice, but it's my choice, and I'm not choosing Android because I have my reasons" which is fair. utterly and completely fair. all i'm saying is, your phone is not the best in the world, it's the best for you, and for your needs. me with android can do what you can do, and more, because my android OS is better. but its not what you need, because your needs are different, and that's fine.
i didn't want this to turn into a bashing thread, not at all. someone made a statement, i contradicted it with proof, now i'm the bad person? bullschit.
Google now ftw! Actually reseach shows Android apps are more stable. [ http://bgr.com/2014/03/28/apple-a...ell Apple to make a bigger phone. umm, Who said Android is the best?
Whatever dude, if you feel better about your S5 in telling others how fantastic experience you have and how superior you "think" it is compared to ours, then good on you.
