Logik DV 9100 HD Issues...Please assist

hi Guys - I am new to the forum - its great here...new things to learn all the time...!!!

Guys, I purchased a new Logik DV 9100 HD Dvd player over the weekend and my HT dvd player has called it a day. I dont have much to spend now as I am renovating my home...HT PC will come later...

The DVD plays all my purchased dvds without any problem. The only issue I have is that all my dvds that are avi files, etc. play for about 10 sec, then skips another 5 sec and so it goes on...

I know there was a post on the forums about the DVD player yesterday, but I now an battling to find it...

I have burnt the movies on a DVD-RW and DVD-R, using Burn Express and Nero, but both do the same thing.

Using the memory stick, the DVD player does the same thing. I have used my old HDD from a HP laptop, but only the backup partition is being seen...???

Please can someone assist...

Hi NBS...thanks for the reply. Are you playing .avi files? Do i load the disk, press play, stop the unit, switch it off, then reboot and resume playing? Sorry for all the questions, its just that I bought in mind with specifically using the usb funciton which seems to give that hassle aswell...

The normal dvd plays perfectly - so i thought if I copy onto a disk it should be fine, but no....
