It's not quite a ripoff. They have both just used elephants. Completely different style and angle.

I think brands are allowed to use the same motifs... I don't think you're allowed to trademark an elephant, or any other animal for that matter, for your own branding. I think it resembles the PostgreSQL logo as much as two different logos using Arial as font do...
