What If running on the heels of this makes perfect sense now.

Also, those rumours of the Garfield and Maguire Spidermen appearing in the next Spiderman, may not be much of a rumour now. Very much possible, if not likely. MCU is going to explode now as they are free to do as they please.

Apparently that was Immortus we saw, older, wiser Kang. Loved the little wink when he told Sylvie ''I'll see you soon'' when she knifed him.

There is also a great chance that we will see a few variations of Kang as well. Ant-Man 3, Loki 2, Dr Strange 2, Spiderman 3, could all be dealing with different versions of Kang if they start exploring the multiverse.
 
The series is cool though but im just disappointed in the amount of magic he uses, far too seldom.

Nitpicking: Why cook an animal when you can just conjure one already cooked?

That was part of his story with Sylvie, no? She basically shows him how powerful a Loki can actually be.

When the two Loki ask who he is, he said that he was known by many names, namely, "a Ruler", "a Conqueror", "He Who Remains", and "The Jerk".

Ruler = Rama-Tut
Conqueror = Conqueror (own timeline)
He Who Remains = Is the variant in the Loki series
I am unsure about which is The Jerk.

I presume that since the Kang's already waged war that the council already existed. Prime Kang being the strongest and the leader,

The Council of Kangs was a group led by Prime Kang that was tricked by Immortus into eliminating all divergent Kangs in the Multiverse, as that would ensure Prime Kang's destiny would end with him becoming Immortus.

Reed Richard's being non-other than Mister Fantastic.

I still don't believe that Kang will be the big bad, my money is still on it being a collective. These phases are all about magic and technologies.

Just to add some original comic book lore,

The Council of Cross-Time Kangs was a group of several Humans, aliens and other creatures who took the guise of Kang the Conqueror after defeating the various robots used by the Prime Kang to rule multiple realities at the same time.

The entire organization was wiped out from existence by the temporal monster Alioth, who was under the control of the true Kang.

the Loki series had some real originality going here. Those Timekeeper robots we have seen in the TVA, were they originally installed by the Prime Kang? What happened... I believe there is lot more which can be explored in the war between all Kangs, or the council, because somewhere Prime Kang had to be subdued and He Who Remained took control to secure the chains.

Alioth will also be seen again.

The impression I got was that was Immortus. The cautionary tale of what would happen if they killed him. Stating he was tired. Mentioning how he achieved peace. All points to him being the older, wiser Kang-Immortus. Unless you meant we will now see how Prime Kang became Immortus?

I could very well be that He Who Remains was Prime Kang, and that he is now to become Immortus. Prime Kang does become Immortus, Rama-Tut took on Immortus when he went in Limbo. All depends on which Kang we are looking at, it could also be that He Who Remains was Immortus as he is ruling Limbo, but...

All I know is that the Kang's already waged war on another, hence I assume that the council already existed in the MCU (and not the multiverse per se).

The discussion is in any case irrelevant. Kang is Kang.

The REAL Big Bad will be the Kang that conquors all the time lines and kills the others off. Or, it has already happened as per the ending of Loki.

Agree. Actually, the whole thing could have been a movie. The new way of making a "series", and then it is basically just a movie that is stretched out over 6 to 8 really tedious episodes is getting to me. It's like Umbrella Academy who HAD to HAVE a friggin musical interlude in every single episode.

Also, don't get me started on the non-ending. No resolution, no "ending". Was the whole thing just a teaser for the new series?

There is no ending because it opens up Phase 4 essentially to Kang. And the Fantastic Four. And possibly mutants (considering Korg & Deadpool were in an advert together).
Which all ties in with the ending of WandaVision where Wanda heard her children calling to her. Which dovetails into Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
No ending required...it is the beginning.

Yeah - the beginning of the end. I think Marvel is played out. Sure it will go on for a while, but I am thinking if they keep on doing things like this, people will just not be watching it anymore. Why watch something when you know there will be no ending?

Or am I just getting old and missing ST:TNG? (episode = beginning, build-up, climax, resolution)

Then don't watch it. Simple...it's a choice. I doubt Marvel is played out. Will see what happens with their movies next year.
