My old LG RH399 is dying, first the 320GB IDE hard drive went and I only had a 20GB WD drive that is 9 years old to patch it up with. Its working but total recording time is limited to 10 hours 
Then the optical drive went and it no longer writes to DVD or plays back DVDs 
I need something to replace it with but I have three important requirements :
1) Must be a stand alone device (not a PC)
2) Ability to time-shift
3) Recorded items should be transferable via either USB, DVD-RW or LAN
Can anyone recommend something that does all this?
