Looking for a USB ADSL router

Look around for one of the usb speedtouch adsl modems. You wont find any usb router. Routers connect using ethernet ports.

the netgear is usb router, however you will need to get a ups to keep the power running after a power failure....

not to mention you need to keep it plugged into your laptop for power - kinda kills the portability of the laptop

the aim is not to have portability (how much portability do you have with adsl anyway?) the aim was to have internet even if power goes off

I dont want to run 2 PC's during a power failure, I only want to run my laptop and be able to use the net to entertain myself during a power failure.

If you looking for a 'decent' UPS, they go for about R800 a pop if you know where to ask (Thats the dealer price I get )
