Looking for Android app ideas ...

I'd love an app that would allow you to take pictures of take out menus from your fav take out joint
I currently take pictures of them but it becomes tedious having to sift through 100's of pics looking for a menu

I used to save them as contact profile pics but limited to one pic..

Take a pic with camera app. Go to ES File Explorer. Create a folder and put the pictures in there

Here's a simple one. An calendar incorporating reminders which shows south african holidays and also school holidays.

I found two horrible apps. The first calendar's squashed at the top of the screen, has no reminders and only shows public holidays. The second "app" is a list of school holidays for the year. Uninstalled them both.

Doesn't your default calendar do this for you? School holidays are subjective to which area you are in.

App idea / request: Proper Image Resizer

It may sound a but mundane, but right now there is simply no decent image resizing app available for android in the app store.

By "proper", i mean one that does ALL of the following:

  1. Resize either or both dimensions.
  2. Resize with or without preserving aspect ratio.
  3. Resize up or down. <- most current offerings can't resize up easily.
  4. Resize to specific pixel count, or by percent of current dimensions.
  5. Resize based on original or incrementally based on current workspace.
  6. App supports common presets, and user-definable presets too.
  7. App supports rotation and inversion.
  8. App may have its own image browser for selection, but also registers as a client for "send to" / "share with" events from other apps (image browsers, file browsers, etc).
  9. GUI is simple from user point of view.

... Please :)

Okay. El Lollipop she is running smoothly. But there is no gallery app. I don't like the photos app that comes with Google+. What is your thoughts on a gallery app? CM's?

I'm looking for ideas as to what free app I can write next.

Is there something you've been looking for but can't find? Do you have a brilliant idea but can't write Android apps?

Share your thoughts and I may write it next ...

Is this Offer still open?, All I want is 20% of the profits if it works and takes off :D
