Looking to buy car between 200 - 300k

I drive a 2017 Ford fietsa with 120000km. Been a good ride but I'm afraid I'm gonna miss my window of getting a good trade-in value.

Just need the next car to be automatic with cruise control and newer than 2019. So far the Mazda Cx3 and Hyundai Venue have piqued my interest. Any other suggestions?
 
The previous gen honda HR-V 1.8 should also be considered, avoid the suzuki grand vitara and toyota hyryder, the interior materials are the same as what they used on my old swift and they show wear terribly, the carpet is almost paper thin, if you can push your budget get a Toyota Corolla cross or look for the newer gen Toyota Corolla on the used market, they are very nice.

Ngl, there's an element of this but in the past year there's been and more expenses. New belt, radiator fan, battery, brake disc giving issues. All this definitely has me questioning how much more I'm gonna have to fork out, especially unexpectedly

Belts wear out and needs replacing on all cars. Brake discs too. Battery last 2 years if doing short distances on a daily basis.

I take my cars to the stealerships, and they tell me what I must fix.

Car Lead Acids needs at least 45min to 1 hour driving to fully recharge from starting the engine.
