Had a little hiccup during payment processing on my first order .

Loot man sorted out in record time .

Placed my first order with loot.co.za was a little hesitant cause they list a game on their website much cheaper than their competitors by R71. Did verify with them prior to ordering if Pricing is correct and stock available with supplier.

Now it's a waiting game ..

Thank you Loot for the generous R50 Voucher. If it weren't the R50 probably wouldn't have made a sale

The process during checkout was easy except the bank with their OTP was delayed had to cancel the order..

Had to check my account - outstanding payment - voucher showed as applied do the checkout process again.

Bought Sniper Elite 3 - Ultimate Edition XBOX 360 for R279 bargain considering CNA sell Sniper Elite 2 for R329 or 2 games for R500

So I made my first purchase from Loot on 15 May (all items in stock) and it only got delivered on 21 May using the Economy (Free) Shipping option. (Joburg Delivery)

Just wanted to check if this is normal (it seems a long time). Maybe I've just been spoilt with Takealot usually delivering the next day even when items are only in stock in CT.

I had a quick browse on their site last night - most items seem to be labelled "shipped in 3-4 days" so that ties up with your timeline...

Economy delivery takes between 1 - 3 days and depending on what time you ordered we might well have only dispatched your parcel the working day after you ordered (in stock items ship within 24hrs) - that would only have been on the 18th as the 15th was a Friday.

PM Sent. Just checked, I ordered on the morning of the 13th and not the 15th.

Don't compare Loot with takealot EVER. Takealot charge a premium fee(mark up) practically on everything on their website due to stock kept on hand.. Example if you placed an order on Friday, around 5 PM (they work during office hours - unlike takealot which operate 24 hours 7 days a week - only time they close during the festive season.) parcel will be handed over to the courier on Monday, driver who arrives late in the evening at the depot/distribution centre. Your parcel stays there for 2 days before dispatched

Kalahari & Takealot are the only 2 I know of whereby the courier have a counter at their warehouse. Example once I placed my order with Kalahari at 1 am, already at 2 am would receive notification and check on status. Same thing goes for takealot depending on your location goodies leave from Johannesburg / Cape Town.

FeFedEx are a Reliable.

Loot I find to be cheaper than their competitors when they "shipped in 3-4 days" if stock is available.. add an extra 3 days.

Ok, we've taken a look -- one of the two items on your order was not in stock in our warehouse and had a lead time of 4-7 days, so the parcel was only dispatched when that item arrived. There would have been a notification on checkout that delivery could be expected between 20 - 27 May. We shipped out the boxes on the 19th and delivery took place on the 21st (so two days for the courier).

I know that our deals landing page doesn't show whether the item on deal is in stock in our DC or not (you have to click through to the product page to see the dispatch time) -- will raise with powers that be

Please ask your developer to look into new account registration. When you register for the first time you aren't directed to a page where it says successful/confirm your email instead you directed to an error page even though account has been successfully created which made my shopping experience not pleasurable.

Account creation was done on mobile.

Great service ordered 7 kg gas cylinder and it was delivered yesterday (3 days earlier than ETA) happy customer here, price was even cheaper got a nice discount :D
