Hi,

I work more from home and need to print and scan 10 to 20 B&W pages per week for like 6 months.

I want to buy a 3 in 1 printer scanner copier but wonder what is more cost efficient for my use:

- lower capex and higher opex ink one; or
- higher capex and lower opex toner one?

If you’ve seen any special, I’m keen for it as well.

Thanks!

Personally, I would go for a laser printer. Past experience with inkjet printers suggests that they tend to clog up if not used often.

Agree. Ink jet printers clog up if not in continuous use. Laser is a better solution.

Either way we are ripped off because by the time you need new cartridges, the printer is obsolete and you can't get cartridges. Check on what replacement cartridges cost and if there are generic cartridges available.

I can still get cartridges for the HP laser printer I bought in 2011, no problem?

I vote laser for OPs question!
