Loyalty points and BIS

Can anyone comment on this please?

Spoke to someone at MTN today regarding my Blackberry that is using my data and not BIS.
I used my loyalty points to buy a 10MB data bundle before I started to use Blackberry.
According to her my Blackberry will use the loyalty data first and when it's depleted it will use BIS.
The loyalty data aparently overrides the BIS.

Can anyone confirm this please? I think its a load of crap.

It is. It should only deplete whnen you connect via the MTN APN, specific apps or you use it as a modem.
