LTE 1800MHz spectrum negotiations ongoing

will be a very interesting deal to structure (and scrutinise)

might also be seen as an admission that they cannot use it at a time when ICASA simply wants to give them more mahala

Wow, this is going to be interesting - the other question is has WBS shown their hand too soon with ICASA still not sorting out the final plans for the remaining spectrum??

According to one of the other articles... "The sub-licensing of spectrum is not allowed in South Africa"...

So surely these types of negotiations are premature? Anyway... WBS rather role out your own LTE network... scr3w the likes of VC and the rest!

..They'll find a way around it.

Anyone know how much spectrum they have? I recall 20Mhz + 15Mhz, how will they split this? 3 x 5Mhz?
