So I need help, what’s the size of the antenna that fit into the back of your standard LTE 4G router.

I have an external antenna but the SMA male seems to be way too small. The actual screw in antennas on the back of the old LTE router seem a lot bigger ?

Do I need to get something like a connector ?

Do I need to get something like a connector ?

You get different sizes and connectors. Google SMA RG adaptors. You can also change the adaptors on the antenna to match the router.
