Lte contract transfer

Hi, whilst I am aware I can transfer ownership of my TELKOM LTE uncapped contract, can anyone tell me how long before the new owner is accepted by Telkom?
 
Yup it's immediate. Both old and new owner should go to the store with ID. Can't remember if proof of purchase is needed too...

I did this about 5 months ago and it took less than 10 minutes in store

I did it today, the telkom store guys said they'll give me a call once I've been accepted as the new owner... Not sure how long though
 
Upto 72hrs for activation , i have been messaging xln who took over an Uncapped LTE just this past week from another member. Take that as you may :p . As i have read here, some have had instant activations xD.

Most of those have expired by now... they on month to month.. (the majority)

Hi Napalm, so if it's already on month-to-month, I can't transfer it to anyone ?

curious as I'm now on month to month paying R525 p/m for mine, but vumatel is already digging in my neighbourhood, so I'm planning on switching to fibre as I'm kinda tired of being throttled after only 300GB
 
You can still transfer it even if it's on month to month.

I have a Telkom Uncapped LTE R799pm deal available for transfer if anyone is interested please pm me. They just installed my fibre and I have 4 months left on this contract.
 
Hi, I am looking to take over an LTE uncapped contract (pre FUP change).

I am a current Telkom customer so should be no wait for credit vetting on transfer.

Where are you based? It would help if people know seeing as you need to go to a telkom store together
 
Hey Guys. I'm from Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng. I'm looking for someone to take over my LTE uncapped contract from Telkom.
 
Hi everyone, I'm from Pretoria, Centurion and I have an LTE-A Smart broadband Wireless 30GB package at R599. You get 60GB anytime and 60GB night time (as part of their double data bundle). I'm looking for someone to take it over from me as I'm going to get fibre.

What you get:
Router: Huawei B618
Data: 60GB Anytime, 60 GB Nighttime
Speed: Up to 150Mbps (I've gotten 100Mbps)
Contract Left: 19 Months (Started 22 May for 24 Months)
