LTE on Afrihost MTN vs Telkom

Hi All,
I have a LTE router which ran Telkom LTE, but I wasnt getting the speeds as advertised. Only time of day which I got the correct speeds was from 10 at night which was not to my liking.
Wanted to take the MTN option but they say that it wont work where I am living. I do however have an MTN contract SIM and am getting favorable speeds with that. What is the reason that MTN wont work through Afrihost in my area?
Could it be that another ISP has a contract with MTN over here, which is the reason that Afrihost wont work on MTN?

Hello.

When the LTE coverage map does pick up your area, it means that the nearby towers do not have LTE capacities therefore connection of the sim would not work.

Thank you for the feedback. Have downgraded to 10Mbps on Telkom just to be connected so long.
