LTE Pin Code?

I have received my Telkom Huawei B351 Router today.
I can see the tower from my home. I have inserted the sim card. However I cannot get a signal.
Is this possibly because the card has not been Rica'd yet? Or should I still see a signal on the router?
I see that they mention a Pin Code in the start up guide. Do I have to enter this anywhere in the router menus? Is that possibly why I have no signal? If it is where in the router do I enter the Pin Code?

the best is to take the sim card and put it in your phone and disable the sim pin, i don't think the sim is active yet, call the call center to check...

Thanks. I also suspected not active yet, but i was not sure if there should be a signal even if the sim is not active or not. Anyway, I will also disable the pin with the phone to avoid that reason.
