LTE problems

I changed my router setting to 2300 from normal. Instant gratification.
Download from 8 to 40
Upload strangely from 8 to 3.5
Monument Park
 
I did mine tonight, its still to early to say its definitely better, but so far its better. Its still pretty crappy, but normally at this time i would get between 0.5mbps and 2mbps, now im getting 11mbps.

Agree to early to tell but mine is massively better compared to the last 2 months or so at this particular time of the evening.

Below 2mb @500+pings was my norm.


Really hope there has been an intervention or exorcism, or something and this holds up.
Will run a few more tonight.
41.150.179.2 which is hop 5 for me still makes me nervous though. But optimistic I will remain.

Well, last night I had less than 1mbps and now I have 7mbps...so it's better, but not what I wanted :p

I'm able to use the internet though...which is already a HUGE change. Will monitor for a few nights and report :)

Cool, I'm back on below 1mbps...Fscking Telkom tossers!
 
I cant imagine that being the issue. Telkom has got a crap load of fibre in the ground .... more than Vodacom I imagine.

Yea but remember they also need to upgrade the things those fibres plug into, that's the real problem. You can have all the best fibres but if the infrastructure is bad it's not gonna help much.
 
You know what i have decided to do....literally call everyday and log a brand new call until they sort it out. If they not gonna give a fudge then i will block up their system. Its dumb i know but thats how pissed off i am.

I wonder if we all start to do this what they would do.

Sadly, I do not have the time to sit on the line for an hour just to log a call.
