I load 2Gb data every second month which costs me R 290 but I only use about 1Gb of data on 3G so although the data costs could be cheaper I really don't use that much while I am not on a wireless network at home or at work.

Wow, that sounds pretty neat. Just like a stand alone FM transmitter - I no longer use mine, got tired of plugging it in and out. Smartphones are the 'ish. I want it on my next phone.

Isn't there an app that plays local radios with out going on line and can do that? Surely there must be.

Well I use the FM transmitter while driving all the time, set my phone playlist to random and away you go.
Much better than listening to "cr@p to the power of 5"

DVB-H capable headphone and you have a WALKA ;)

Alright, guys. I am convinced. Desipte the evidence that we have see so far in support of the 920's superiority over the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5 is still WAY BETTER than the Lumia 920.

The video below absolutely proves it. Apple were so innovative.

Does that sound familiar.

There are so many lies that are told by virtually every company these days. Half of what your favorite company is saying is not true.

So, yes. Lets catch them out and rat on them. Until then, an apology will suffice for the lie they (Nokia) told about how good their OIS is. It is good, but not that good. But at least they owned up to their lie and apologised. Some companies just don't admit it and do cover ups.

The only reason you aren't lumped in with the other nutter fanboys is because Nokia is the gritty underdog and we all kind of want them to make a success of it - so you're the phone equivalent of an Aston Villa fan I guess.
 
You are right. I am seriously not a fan boy.

Right now I see a change in the tech world that hasn't quite matured yet. Yes, Apple did revolutionise the mobile and PC industry by making the tablet and touch screen mainstream but I feel the revolution has not quite hit the sweet spot yet to let us conclude that that is how the man on the street wants to use mobile devices.

Nokia being an underdog is certainly the reason why I began to support them again after years of boycotting them. When a company gets too good it gets somewhat arrongant and its devices will be overpriced. Arrogance as in lack of innovation (like Apple now) i.e. relying in the goodwill gained by their initial innovative products to rack up sales. This is where RIM and Nokia were around 2005/6/7.

I like Nokia now because they are hungry to win. And we all can see that.

I hope I will support Apple too soon and I just might - given their latest device release. But, I will only do so when they show hunger again.

I used to buy Samsung products and believed in them so much. Phone (before my current Nokia), camera, vacuum cleaner, washing machine right now in my house are Samsung. Well, not any more. No more Samsung for me.

More iPhone 5 Shrodiness - Pronounced Purple Hue in Pictures

So, apart from its poor specs and lack of innovative technology, what else have we heard of the iPhone 5.

From the top of my head I have heard this:
- iOS 6 maps shambles,
- Scratched right out of the box and
- Glitchy onscreen keyboard (just read this in the PocketNow article).

The same PocketNow article points out to us that pictures taken with the iPhone against the light are giving a much more pronounced purple hue than was the case with other iPhone iterations. Apparently, this purple hue problem was also exprienced with the iPhone 4 but was not as clear as it appears in the iPhone 5.

The question is - what else is wrong with the iPhone 5?

I bet there is still a lot more coming. Its bearly been a week since it has been released into the wild.

And the Lumia 920 continues to look better and better. You would think these never heard of something called PureView that they should have paid royalties for so they can produce a better product.
