Lumia 920 Thread

Went to Vodaworld yesterday to check out the phone.

My word is it big and bulky :wtf:

Ended up getting the Xperia T instead :D

Its about the same size as any of its competitors actually. I quite like the feel of it, nice and solid.
It took a bit of time to get used to it, but I am loving the size and shape

Yeah, not sure how people are complaining about the weight. Before complaining about the weight you might want to attempt to use the phone to call a gym.
 
Try downloading the "Refresh Marketplace" app? (I have the 610 but it fixed some marketplace downloading errors for me)
 
Guys which colours are available in SA at the moment? Been looking on the websites but so far can only really see white, black, red and from the above, yellow? Does anyone know if they have the grey? Also to the guys who have had it for more than a week, how has the battery life been? Any days of heavy drainage etc?

I imported mine. So far I have only seen black available in SA.

Hi! You'll be able to get White, Red and Black (Red seen mostly at Vodacom Stores and White/Black seen mostly at MTN stores).

I've got a White Lumia 920. No weird Battery Drain issues or any of the issues that other people have listed. My Whatsapp also works flawlessly.

Digging the phone and wouldn't exchange it for anything else.

Glad they are offering most of the colors. Still would suggest that people find a way to buy one overseas because VC/MTN are successfully raping their customers.
 
I don't really like people who own a 920.... coz if I waited 5 months then I could have upgraded to this instead.

MTN really missed the ball on advertising here , yellow 920 with their yellow brand...

Why? R499 for anytime350 including R350 airtime, 50 smses and 150mb data. Total pay in over 24 months is roughly R3.5k...
