Wow, it's a painless and quite quick install.
About two minutes for the prep stage and about 30 min for the main install.

Buy parallels. Works like a charm. Still need to test it on lion though
It's been a pretty stable release. If you need rosetta apps though don't upgrade.Holding off until all the niggles have been sorted out.
Yeah. Looking forward to a version that'll let me virtualize OS X, as it's allowed now.VMWare Fusion 3.1.3 works![]()

I agree - I don't want Preview to do that for example. I just found a tip for exactly that! http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_tame_six_os_x_lion’s_early_problemsApple needs to enable/disable restore on launch on a per app basis. I have no need for it in an app like safari but in other apps it's quite handy.
First you’ll need to know exactly which app you want to kill this feature on -- we’ll use Preview as an example, since it may not be desirable to have it restore documents in most cases. Fire up Terminal again and use the following command without quotes: “defaults write com.apple.Preview NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -int 0”. For other applications, simply replace “Preview” with the name of the app -- when in doubt, visit your Preferences folder to confirm how the app name appears in the “com.apple.XXXX” file this is modifying.
Awesome, thanks!I agree - I don't want Preview to do that for example. I just found a tip for exactly that! http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_tame_six_os_x_lion’s_early_problems
I like the multitasking - but yeah.Awesome, thanks!
Now if only I could do the same thing for iOS Safari.![]()
Safari is the best on Mac right now - try Safari 5.1 - the gestures are so fun!Only thing I don't like is I can't go back and forward in Firefox anymore using 2 finger swipe on my magic mouse.
That is now assigned to mission control.
