Anyone buying? Only 13 hours left and $49 gets you some pretty good stuff including Pixelmator, iStopMotion, VectorDesigner, CSSEdit, Snapz Pro X . . .

Nice deal there.

Who wants to take a bet whether Microsoft will do this kind of thing or not? :D :(

I really wish they would make available their pool of available software and give you the option of choosing say, 5 applications for $49. There's always only one app in the bundle that I'm interested in.

You'd prefer to pick five applications for $49 instead of taking all 14 for $49?

Of the 14 offered there is only one that I am interested in or haven't paid for already. So it's a rather bad deal for me.

What I meant by picking five is from all the applications they have available. Every time these bundles are made available they have a different collection of apps, so obviously macheist has more than the ones in this bundle. If they can make all available and let you tailor your collection, it would work for more people. I would be willing to pay more than $49 if I can choose the apps, even if I can only choose a handful instead of 14.

IIRC this is only the second bundle they've done.

I doubt they still have any rights to sell the previous bundle (or this one after tonight).

I seem to remember more but I might be confusing them with someone else.

Good point about the rights though.

Some nice applications, shame I have half of them already, otherwise I'd be buying. 1password is my favorite - couldn't live without it.
Think I need to have a closer look at that.

I'm also pretty curious about how well VectorDesigner mimics Illustrator.

With most websites now requiring you to register and log in, 1password is a must have. It works with Keychain and stores all your passwords, forms and log-in details securely. I never have to remember a username or password again!!. VectorDesigner is also something I am interested in. I have an old version of Illustrator and if this VectorDesigner is as good as it says it is then it's going to save me a bundle of money.

Right now Keychain already does an admirable job of storing my passwords and safaris auto compete takes care of most form data.

VectorDesigner - doesnt let you edit illustrator files by the look if it.

Yes Keychain does do a good job of doing that but 1password gives you control. You can generate strong passwords, save multiple profiles (you can choose if you want to fill with your billing address or your shipping address), you can save multiple log-ins for the same site. But if Keychain is enough for you then that's great.

P.S I don't work for them :)

I bought it for Pixelmator and Wingnuts :)
Pretty good deal, Macbreak are having a discussion this week with people in favor of Macheist and people opposed.

It was a good show - now they just need to get one of the developers who contributed on the show to even things up a bit. :)
