Thanks bwana :) No I haven't gotten a macro lens yet. I used my Ixus to take that photo. I did try and reverse my lenses but it turned out too difficult to get a sharp photo of the guy.
In the future I'd like to get a macro lens plus an ultra wide angle lens, but that will only come after I can get a better paying job and earn proper money

That's pretty cool - my P&S bridge camera says it has a macro mode but its pretty weak.

I'm flogging my wide angle to get something a bit narrower and longer so you can understand when I say ultra-wide boggles my mind. :)

The photo of the moth was taken with your p&s and it looks really good. :)
What is the widest that you have? I think I enjoy taking some landscape photos and the 10-20mm or tokina 11-16mm looks nice. What is the widest that you have at the moment? 16-35mm?

oh btw, when you mention that your macro feature on the p&s is pretty weak, what do you mean by that?

Thought I'd share this rather interesting looking cockroach - first time I've seen one with a coat-of-arms on his shield :D

There is one wall near my office door that just seems to attract the oddest looking moths.

Very nice..

Show us your PS skills Bwana. Take a photo of yourself in the mirror holding the came, and PS it into the shiny eyes :D

Doh... Can I buy one vowel and a consonant. R and A would do fine

(even if I just learnt something and found out that grammatically those are the wrong terms)
