Mail issues over SAIX lines

Reports from numerous clients with serious delays in downloading mail over SAIX lines. Mails hosted by a variety of providers, some hosted locally, some internationally. No pattern in reports, clients in random locations across the country have reported this. No reports on SAIX noticeboard of international issues. Anyone else experiencing this or have heard of any causes?

I've been experiencing the same thing for the last two days with mail and sites hosted on my shared server in the US - nothing loads, everything times out. Every now and then a page or mail will load at a couple of bytes a second.

I tried troubleshooting it with the server co., but they couldn't find anything on their side. tracert and stuff seems fine.

I'm having the issue on my ADSL and my 3G connections, so it seems like it's quite serious.

The problem seems to have resolved itself, although no official word from SAIX. They haven't been as responsive to faukts as they usually are though, so it's possible they did change/cause something and fixed it without saying what, how or why.
