Male hormone testing

Did mine last year along with entire blood work panel via doc was about R5k.

I was below low end testosterone so on estrogen blockers at the moment. Also good to get baseline PSA values etc

Also you wont just get injections this will be dependent on age etc trying for kids as well.
I just wanted to update my post here including my results from Jan 2024 and now

Levels have almost doubled, would like to note the following changes:

2 unit of alcohol per week
4 weight sessions of gym a week
4km daily walk (have a 9 month old that needs to be out to be in a good mood :))
2x5km runs on the weekend
2x Clomiphene Citratre tablets a week.
+- 15kg weight lost since the initial test - fittest I have ever been

We wanted children and doctor wanted to rather block "rogue" estrogen than directly mess around with testosterone replacement at this stage.

From my understanding.

I think the below explains it better

I know how it works I wanted the drs rationale for choosing it. That's how pharmacists absorb knowledge from drs and patients. So it was the fertility factor that was in play.

Make sure you keep an eye on that tes levels. It's natural for tes to drop when there's a child in males. Nature's way of making you a caring father and not bashing the kid in a tes induced rage.

But congratulations on your journey well done.

Good dr you must listen to him/her

Ah gotcha! Will def keep an eye on it, love my little one to bits :)

Yeah was the fertility factor at play. 100% I was hit hard with this during my wife's pregnancy https://www.nature.com/news/2006/060130/full/news060130-6.html
