BS
The racist prick was creating racial divides, and only racists would not be celebrating his downfall.
I think that's my concern, you are only worried about his racist utterances and most probably dismiss everything else he has said even if there's a grain of truth there. I know he says things just to get standing ovations but some of the things he says are true.
People who think that are very short-sighted. Malema is one of the many hurdles this country has faced and we're better off having him behind us.
True! But we shouldn't fool ourselves into believing that everything will be okay once Malema's gone. I personally choose to see his nationalization of mines policy as a wake up call to all of us to not forget that there are still poor people around us who will mindlessly follow anyone promising them economic freedom. We must try defeat Malema by finding a way to help the poor to help themselves somehow. I am not talking about freebies, I am talking about encouraging or motivating them to go out there and make a life for themselves.
Nobody said everything will magically be ok, we just wanted him gone. How can any progress be made with him still there? What do you suggest, keep Malema in the ANC, and hope that government and business will cooperate when there are talks of nationalisation, land grabs, coolies and kill the boer? Why would any business care about the plight of black people with racist comments like that?
I don't personally have a problem with people raising issues like nationalisation and land redistribution, but they need to do it in a diplomatic manner. Malema has been far too aggressive and racist to be taken seriously by non-blacks.
Agreed! My concern though is that once the dust settles and Malema lives quietly in his R16 million mansion (in the bunker), South Africans will go back to the old habit of carrying on with life and pretending that we live in a stable country. My view is that this country is very unequal, and an unequal country is an unstable country. I personally find it despicable that the haves (people living in Sandton) and the have nots (people living in Alex) are neighbours. I was at the Zone in Rosebank the other day at Primi Piatti and people are spending hundreds of rands inside the restaurants but then a few steps away from the restaurants you witness people all over begging for money. This has become a norm and it shouldn't be.
We can play the blame game and blame the ANC or blame Apartheid but that doesn't help, we've been blaming and nothing has changed, in fact corruption is getting worse. We need to do something different, like joining an NGO that helps the poor. I don't like handouts, I like motivational talk and skills transfer.
Tell this to the poor followers of Malema.
They believe you can just demand and get sh*t for free.
They have no desire to do any work, let alone hard work.
They believe the f@cking fairies do all the work.
I can guarantee you most of the people who despise Malema already work damm hard.
It's because the dick Malema just wants to take everthing they worked HARD for that we hate the prick.
It's because of him that some skilled and hard working people are going to other countries to work hard there and make a life for themselves and their families, at least some fat pig won't take what they worked hard for.
If Malema and his ilk can fall in a big hole in the earth and never be seen again, South Africa would be a much beter place.
Yep, a huge issue that you have raised is regarding skilled people living the country because of political uncertainty, and that is a big problem. I think Malema is powerful because there are just too many poor people in this country and they feel he is their Jesus. I believe that if we can drastically reduce poverty levels and bridge the gap between rich and poor, have and have nots, that the Malemas of this world will not be powerful. We have an opportunity to fix this country, the ANC DC has given us 5 years to fix some of the country's problems and I promise you that in 5 years time Malema will come back angrier and more powerful.
