Good to see the ANC taking some decisive action for a change. Although too lenient (considering the damage these twirps are doing to the economy and national security), it's a start. Mal-ema is the kind who will dig his own grave in the process. He doesn't seem to know where the stop/pause button is.

i have a sneaky feeling that malema's obituary has already been prepared.
why is he building his million rand house with bunkers? why did he suddenly jet off to mauritius? too many questions here. he squawked too much and he the ANC has finally said enough. no more protection for you it's time to silence you for good. this suspension is just the beginning for him. the quip about the botswana government etc went overboard. while he's the president of the YL creche they couldn't do anything to him, now they dethroned him, i'd say his many vehicles are very unsafe to be driving now. how many bodyguards will be following him around now?

I tried to spoil my vote by viewing the results actually, though I've found that doesn't do that like on other forums.
I haven't voted at all. I think News24s poll was better, more to the point and less ambiguous.
X Shows my opinion despite the chicken littles disagreement, seems the majority of the other site agree.

Think that was strategic, if the ANC went after Malema right at the beginning they would lose supporters too quickly. They waited for him to bugger up enough times to let himself fall all on his own. Either way, the ANC/ANCYL/South Africa is better with him not being in that position.

It's a very sad state of affairs that South Africans are happy Malema has been dealt with and think everything in this country will be ok and go back to normal. The truth is that government and business haven't done enough to bridge the gap between rich and poor and they haven't done enough to fix the crumbling education system and they haven't done enough to create jobs. As long as there are poor people, there will always be Malema's, people who will use the poor for their own selfish and materialistic benefits. The country and all its citizens must work hard and work together to build this country. If inequality is narrowed and poverty significantly reduced then this country will be as prosperous and stable as the Scandinavian countries.
