Apartheid is a striking example of this - and why we have the k@k today here in SA.

Nope - whites are prevented, by the ANC, from referring to themselves as Africans.
Chinese are africans though - as are blacks born in the UK or Germany etc

yeah that as well. But the breeding ground for what we are experiencing today is a direct result of a minority oppressing a majority.

Guess I can rant and rave but I respect your POV since you lived in the old SA (my apologies if you take offence at me implying your age :) )

And because we are debating this online , I can ponder over your opinions , walk away all good and more enlightened since you have much more life experience than I have.

Two wrongs never make a right.

At this point in OUR history we need strong polical leadership with a common goal of reconciliation and nation-building.

We do not need any person fanning the flames of racial tension, regardless of which side of the political spectrum they represent.
 
It has little to do with apartheid. Look at any african country and you will find poverty and destruction which are entirely the product of its living inhabitants. If the rest of africa was prosperous then this wouldn't be the case, but the facts are clear.

Sigh. You're right, of course. But it's only an explanation for Mister Malema's behaviour, not an excuse for it.

It also needs to be said that if the ANC had put some effort into repairing the damage those years of oppression did, people like our small-penised Mr Malema would now be occupying the same outskirts of society that the AWB does.

There is absolutely no shame in calling out bad behaviour when you see it. If someone turns around and says "You can't judge because you said blah blah...", then take the criticism and MOVE ON.

I promise you your penis will still be bigger than Mister Malema's if you do so...

I would like to see what the ANC's response is to this. Attacking an international journalist and removing them from the briefing is shocking and of concern. His trip to Zim seems to have further strengthened his delusions about the conspiracy by the whites against him.

My opinion is that he is doing this to divert attention from his tender issues and personal wealth.

Well its the truth, i honestly wish it wasn't so, but it is.

Certain groups in this world have serious behavioral issues which i won't link to skin colour because obviously skin pigment means nothing.

People have to behave themselves no matter what race they are, and if certain groups no matter what race constantly choose not to, then i don't think its wrong to mention it.

Don't you think his actions are looking more and more like that of mugabe? Didn't he also throw out the reporters?
