Man killed by pitbulls

Or if you have a bridge nearby.

It never is. Pitbulls are the most peaceful, non-aggressive, dogs. I think in fact their teeth are made of candy floss. I think they kill by overdose of sweetness or some such ****.

When are they just gonna outlaw ownership of these cream puffs, as simply no owner on the planet is qualified to handle their supreme gentleness.

Funny enough, of all the Pitbull owners I know personally (including myself) have never had a single issue. And I have owned numerous ones over a period of around 18 years. Your assumptions would only be true if it applied to everyone not so?

Hahaha OK maybe I shouldn't have said "Nothing" I clearly forgot dynamite, phosphor grenades and a nuclear detonation :P

That’s true....but how do you enforce this in the townships?

/shrug

But on the upside dog ownership isn't nearly as common in townships. Damn near every pillock in the 'burbs has a dog or two though.

Any bets as to how many posts by the apologists/"owner's fault" vs the "ban these creatures!" crowd?

They should even ban Pitbull from MyBB just to show how serious a pitbull ban should be considered.

Edit: I like this new feature. Won't be able to miss a quote or a mention now :)

Owners never have issues with their own dogs. I grew up with a few large dogs. Not pitbulls. Two massive german shepards and another mixed breed. If they were not my dogs you'd be sure I'd stay the heck away from them.

It's the random people that walk by on the street that need to worry. We had high walls so the dogs couldn't get out but they jumped high and tried nonetheless when randoms walked by. The dogs were always fine with strangers when a family member was around but when they saw a stranger alone in their territory it was a different story.

Exactly my point. I know my dogs can clear a 2m wall easy. I therefore take precautions, like installing electric fencing above the wall as an example.

Woman mauled to death by pit bulls

A 67-year-old Effingham woman was declared dead on the scene after she was mauled to death by two pitbull terriers today (Wednesday).

Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen said that there was “nothing paramedics could do” to help the lady.

It is believed that the woman lives on the property and was familiar with the dogs, according to source close to Durban North News, who said that the woman was alone when she was attacked by the dogs.

“Neighbours couldn’t do anything to help except to shout and bang the gate for the dogs to leave her. The fence is too high for anyone to jump over and by the time the paramedics arrive, she was already dead,” said the source.

Greenwood Park police spokesperson Sergeant Vincent Mthembu confirmed the incident. “An inquest has been opened at the station,” he said.

Article not dated

Wasn't this the same domestic worker killed last year?

Could be, just saw the article on a friend's page in Durban.
But he might be responding to an old article.
Will look for another source.

Probably the same song sang by all the Pitbull owners before their dogs mauled someone to death.
