You didn’t ask him through the window in traffic. You asked him after you pulled over.

considering he jumped in front of my car to pull me over (I wasn't speeding and he wasn't trapping nor doing anything illegal as far as i recall)- if i carried on driving in traffic an opened my window to ask i'm pretty sure he would be dead or seriously injured.

Marius (and he admitted it) was Rude so was the cop - the fact of the matter is it doesn't matter how he asked , the cop carried on as if he has no right to ask.
He does - we all do.
