There is a restaurant in London, Mother Mash, that specialises in mashed potato dishes :)

Can you imagine? A restaurant devoted to mashed potatoes? Mashed potatoes as your main course? Yes, it exists. In almost every permutation possible. Mash and cheese. Mash and chives. Plain mash, curry mash, peas mash, corn mash, Irish mash, and of course… gravy! A lake of gravy sitting at the bottom of a shallow bowl!

i love mash.

Not as much as the proprietors of Mother Mash. I love the idea of speciality take-aways like this, but not restaurants. I'd pick up a mash and gravy if it was decent as part of a quick lunch. I certainly wouldn't go out for dinner to a restaurant that does mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes and mashed potatoes.

They have bought in a bunch of ready-made sausages, pies and a few gravies. Wow, I see a michelin star on the cards here...

I think the idea was more along the line of cheap food for (inter alia) tourists, if you ask me :)

I read about it from the account of someone traveling Europe on a shoestring budget.

There are cheaper and better alternatives than mashed potato. Tourists should be warned of this scam...:D

i am sure that kfc is selling smash cause my mash don't taste anything like their mash.

Stop eating smash and instant microwave meals. You are the epitome of a bachelor...

Let me guess - you stick it in the microwave thereafter? :p

Why not just boil some potatoes in salted water, add some cream, pepper and butter and mash? Much tastier...

U can put them in a plastic bag and microwave them - much faster.;)
