In anticipation of next month's drop of the 4th installment I did a weekend (re)binge of the Matrix Trilogy & honestly it was just as good as I remembered it to be. No rose tinted glasses here, all 3 films stand up on their own & watching them in 2021 you truly appreciate how progressive the film's were for 1999 & 2003 ito of narrative & all manner of effects.

The 1st installment gets an easy 7.5/10 from me while the 2nd & 3rd installments both get an easy 7/10.

Even though all 3 movies seemingly ran on the longer side, at 2hrs+ for each film, there is very little fat to trim. Pacing & unfolding is absolutely on point.

I also truly appreciated what a fantastic job Reeves, Moss & Fishburne brought to the table.

In the immortal words of Keanu: "My body is ready" for next month.

The past week has seen a lot of excitement for The Matrix fans, as a number of different posters have been released to build excitement for the upcoming The Matrix Resurrections, with today seeing the release of character posters honoring not only familiar faces but also all-new figures within the franchise. Despite the excitement of these posters and the reminder that the film is just a month away from being released, the marketing campaign continues to keep a tight lid on the endeavor, as these posters don't offer much insight into the roles these new characters will play in the outing. The Matrix Resurrections hits theaters and HBO Max on December 22nd.

The film is described, "From visionary filmmaker Lana Wachowski comes The Matrix Resurrections, the long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise that redefined a genre. The new film reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the iconic roles they made famous, Neo and Trinity."

Do you have HBO max ? While true for us market, what about the rest of the world.Spiderman is going to kick its teeth in, period.Sub this thread. Spiderman min 650m, matrix 4, best guess around 350m.Very few studios are willing to take on marvel movies and often, release before or after.Even with HBO max, it is going to bomb.Mark my words

Matrix 1 and 2 both were 10/10 for me.
Part 3 probably 7/10.
Judging by how well those 3 did, I have no doubt part 4 will be a hit, due to the cult following
