maximum output

I have looked on ICASA's website but I cant find it anywhere. SO any of you know the maximum legal output of a wireless card?

Not yet, but avilable bandwith is starting to get clogged, and altough icasa may not police ISM band useage, they do have to enforce power output ( EIRP ) even in ISM bands.

If you do get "audited" just make sure they follow the process. They ave to ID themselves properly.

They also may not remove any equipment without a court order, but they can power it down and seal it up.

Ye, i have no fear atm for ICASA. I just wanted to know for interest sake. I am actually buying wifi card with a 500mW output and has been sitting in customs for almost 2 weeks, so wanted to know if they might not allow it in/?
