Couldn't have said it better myself. It appears to me that the ANC have lost control over their faithful followers. What does T-Bone expect to happen. "Stop doing that you naughty boys" and everything will go back to normal.

Agree! And at no stage did I want to impose my will upon the members of the forum. I was asked to say what I have done now and I did.

Point to the incompetence and coruption is a start. It happens all over. Just open the newspaper. What then?

Mbeki has lost touch with reality a long time ago.
 
A dozen or so people are killed in a few days in "Xenophobic" violence, and the police are hauled in, and news24 is now carrying an article pointing towards possible army involvement, and yet, in the same few days, 200-300 people have been killed in "regular" murder,and nothing is done.

Perhaps someone can tell us why?
 
moderloos - you raise a good point.

though i would add that it might possibly be wise to contain what is happening very quickly before it fans into something much larger. but yes i take your point that that doesn't mean other crime fighting should take a back seat.

Concentrated. If foreign individuals were killed in various different places around the country it wouldn't even make their local newspapers.

Yes well maybe not the same people but definitely a group of people (or a large % of the group) that have the same view and possibly the ability to make an informed choice even if these post's weren't made.

Fact is posting these "awareness creating" threads on this forum will do nothing on its own to what will happen in the future. Most people on this forum have made up their minds.

Awareness is better applied to those that are not aware I think....

Personally I only visit one site for news IOL, so these forums are a great place to collect news events from all over. Certainly made me more aware.

Hope this sets the stage for an anti-ANC campaign also.
The people should realise it is the ANCs fault and in 2010 when the borders open, all of

Africa will swarm in, as RSA is doing pretty well thanks to the previous government. As bad as Apartheid was, it is still better better off than any African country.
